In spring of 2018, Toei Animation announced a partnership with Adidas to release a collection of sneakers based off the popular anime franchise, Dragon Ball Z.
With the sneaker collection launching in September 2018, our brand ambassadors went to work creating a lifestyle collection based around the primary DBZ characters. Our collection was designed to pair with the sneaker culture naturally. Giving consumers a seamless transition in their merch experience. We had one consistent goal... Give anime and DBZ fans a unique collection that celebrates the legacy of one of the most popular anime franchises in the world.
The result was a cohesive, character driven collection that engages the consumer.
